Poetry

May drips her blossoms over spindly briars,

Arums shouldering wild garlic woods.

Cuckoo song breaks melodious notes

Whilst Willows dance in Spring’s light breeze.

Dippers feathers ruffle diamond drops

Kingfishers dart orange through minnowed streams.

Frogspawn masses move as one

And the Oak now clothed in her Summer leaves.

Mists blown in across the valley

Rain whispering its way across the ridge,

Taking the view in its wake

Just the larches dripping their branches

Sighing and shivering with the drenching

Muted church bells in distance peel

Ash silhouettes loom from low clouds touch

Dripping fronzed ferns bow in complete surrender.fotor_(38)
